MRI Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. This role involves operating MRI machines to capture detailed images of the body, helping to diagnose medical conditions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MRI technology and have a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans of patients, ensuring high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for the MRI procedure, explaining the process and positioning them properly
  • Maintain and operate MRI equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues
  • Follow all safety protocols to minimize risk to patients and staff
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists and other medical personnel
  • Record and document patient information and imaging results
  • Assist with patient care and ensure comfort during the procedure
  • Clean and sanitize MRI equipment after use

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited MRI technology program
  • State licensure and certification in MRI technology (specific to location)
  • Experience with MRI equipment and imaging procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work in a clinical, fast-paced environment
