Radiologic Technologist

Position Overview

We seek a skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team at NextGen Scans. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with diagnostic equipment and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
  • Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning
  • Follow all safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to provide accurate diagnostic information
  • Keep accurate records of patient procedures and results
  • Assist with patient care and ensure a positive patient experience
  • Clean and disinfect imaging equipment after use

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • State licensure and certification in radiologic technology (specific to location)
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Knowledge of imaging techniques, radiation safety, and medical terminology
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and assisting patients
